TORRE PACHECO

Located only 37 kilometres away from the region’s capital Murcia, Torre Pacheco has Cartagena at its south, the San Javier and the Palaces stand at the eastern side, Source Poplar at the west, and the famous Martinez of the Port, Avileses and Valladolises at the northern part.

Land in Torre Pacheco is practically level and the only elevation of the municipality is the hill called Fat Cabezo. At present, this hill is home to a number of native ecosystems of local fauna and flora.

The manor house constitutes the origin of the municipality of Torre Pacheco. Serving as both means of communication to far places and as defence against Berber attack, the towers are significantly considered as defensive structures.

Torre Pacheco boasts of a climate defined as the subtropical barren or subbaren Mediterranean being near the sea. The temperature is smooth and precipitations are not that high making the municipality of Torre Pachecho one of the most barren zones in the country. The warmest weather is experienced during the month of August every year when the average temperature reaches up to 28°C.

Providing well constructed infrastructures, the Torre Pacheco also features impressive golf courses as well as exciting IFEPA trade fair and exhibition centre. These amenities make Torre Pacheco municipality a perfect vacation haven for those people who simply want to relax and make the most of their stay in the Spanish region.
