Costa Del Sol

One of Europe´s most popular tourist destinations, Costa del Sol has also become one of Europe´s property investment hotspots over the past five years. Boasting of a double-digit annual economic growth in most areas, Costa del Sol can be found at the southernmost coastal area of Spain. It covers a picturesque coastline stretching up to 160km and bordering the Mediterranean Sea.



Well-established Coastal resorts can be found at Costa del Sol. More popular resorts include the Estepona, Sotogrande, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, and Marbella. Smaller areas in Costa del Sol such as the Riviera del Sol, Los Monteros, Duquesa, Calahonda, Elviria, Rio Real, San Pedro, are also slowly becoming popular with homeowners and holiday-makers.

Andalucia’s famous ‘pueblos blancos’ or white villages like the Casares, as well as inland villages called the Alhaurin and Mijas are becoming famous because of their accessibility. This area also takes pride in its being home to some of Southern Spain´s most picturesque marinas and harbours. Included in the list of the most impressive marinas and harbours in the Spanish region are the popular Puerto Cabopino, Banus, Sotogrande, Duquesa, Estepona, Marbella, and Benalmadena.

For the golf enthusiasts, there are more than 40 golf courses that can be found in Costa del Sol. Golf players are kept satisfied because the courses are within a half hour drive only and are set on the lush Costa del Sol greeneries.

Considered as the regional capital of Malaga, Costa del Sol is also said to be one of Spain’s most thriving cities. The famous place where Pablo Picasso was born, Costa del Sol is served by two international airports at Gibraltar and Malaga. Flights from most northern European countries are handled by the Malaga Airport, as well as flight operators such Iberia, Monarch, Spanair, British Airways, and EastJet.
